Members of Board

GENE NALBANDIAN

Gene is known for creating unique products and branding them with strong marketing support. From 1969 to 1971 he was President and CEO Blums of San Francisco, a unique restaurant and confectionary. He branded the Blums name in every major department store in the United States, including Nieman Marcus and Marshall Fields, with his Blums Boutique counters. From 1968 to 1969 Gene was a Senior Consultant with KMPG. During that period he was involved in the marketing and branding strategy for the Polly Bergen Cosmetics, and set distribution strategies for all major departments stores in the US. Upon graduating with Honors from UCLA, Gene was Special Assistant to UCLA Chancellor Franklin D. Murphy, who later became Chairman of the Board of LA Times. He is listed in Who's Who in California and currently serves on the California Water Conservation Council subcommittee to reduce runoff throughout the State of California.
Gene founded Jardinier in 1988 and has been its President and Chairman since such date. In 1971 he co-founded Swensens Ice Cream Shoppes, Inc. From 1971 to 1977 he was Executive Vice President at Swensens. He was responsible for its rapid growth throughout the 70's and Business Week magazine praised the company as the hottest "Branded Product" during this era. During that time, Swensens grew to more than 900 franchises throughout the US and began franchising in Europe.

HARRY HODGDON

Harry Hodgdon is a Certified Public Accountant and has an MBA from Central Michigan University. Mr. Hodgdon served as Executive Vice President, responsible for international operations in 17 countries for Howard Schultz & Associates, an audit recovery firm. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hodgdon served as Divisional Vice President in charge of planning and budgeting for Broadway Department Stores in Los Angeles. Mr. Hodgdon is currently serving as the President of Kryptonite Customs, Inc. an aftermarket provider of upscale automotive products. He is also a shareholder and Director of Bucks County Bank in Pennsylvania.

PETER FINCH

Peter Finch is President of PDF Accountancy Corporation, a Certified Public Accounting firm located in Irvine California. Mr. Finch also serves as President and Chief Financial Officer of Xcaper Industries, LLC, and manufacturer of the world only moist smoke protection mask a technology invented by Mr. Finch. Mr. Finch began his career at Arthur Young & Company where he managed the firm’s West Coast audit division. He is a member of the Audit Committee of Jardinier.

ROBERT KITE

Since 1981, Mr. Kite has served as president and chief operating officer of KFC, Inc. and Managing Partner in KFT, LLP. Holdings in these companies include; real estate, stocks and bonds, MRI clinics, residential housing and resort hotels. Mr. Kite currently serves as a Director on the Boards of Education 2020, National Energy Group, ANTS Software, and Child Help USA, a non-profit organization. Mr. Kite is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Business and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

REX DIXON

Mr. Dixon's career in the irrigation industry spans over 35 years, holding senior executive management positions in sales and marketing at the preeminent corporations in the industry: RainBird, The Toro Company, Black & Decker, James Hardie Irrigation and LR Nelson Corporation.Mr. Dixon currently works as a sales & marketing consultant and continues to assist many of the irrigation industry's fine organizations.He is a recent past president of the Irrigation Association having spent a total of eight years as board and executive board member of the association.
