To landscape architects, wise water usage focuses on the care of trees, flowers, plants, and grass. To regulatory agencies, wise water usage involves the design of irrigation systems that have broader implications. To certain environmental groups, wise water usage means not altering the natural environment, which means not adding any irrigation water.
